The School Yard
"It does not matter what other people say or do. What matters is how I choose to react and what I choose to believe about myself. I cannot change another person. I let others be who they are, and I simply love who I am."- Louise Hay
I wrote this quote on my facebook page last week or so and I was amazed by the positive reaction of some of my FB girlies. I believe and practice this.
A similar quote from Wayne Dyer:
“How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours.”
Gone are the days when I get upset from what people think of me or people getting agitated when I don't do exactly what they want you to do. "Oh your after doing something I'm not gonna tell you what it was here is your penny back you are out of the gang." "If he doesn't ring me two days after our first date then I'm not having anything to do with him"... Oh give me a break.. Give people a break! Don't set up obstacle courses for people to complete with consequences when they don't even if they do not even know you are playing games with them. Whatever happened to people talking things out or have an argument and get over it. Like Adults. But schoolyard antics I can't be dealing with. I have no time to be going over and over and bitching and gossiping about what he or she said or thinks about me. I simply leave them be. Carry on with my own life. This method had given me a lot of peace through what potentially could have been a terrible trying times with family and friends.
You can't change other peoples attitude but you can change how you react to it. This can be hard I know. But try it you will be amazed at the results. Don't waste your time being resentful and giving these problems and people your time or piece of mind. I believe in being positive and trying your hardest to never hurt anyone intentionally. I find then in turn positive things will start happening to you.
I love browsing though motivational quotes. Its good for the soul. Give it a try ;-)

Favourite ad at the moment
I think the people who do these ads are so wackey and talented. When I finally get the balls to leave my job of 11 years Im going into this line of work.
The best bit is when Krave is hiding behind the cardboard cutout of chocolate grinding his hips... Class stuff.

Who ate all the pies...
I did.
And I will be.
Flying to the States on Saturday for two weeks and I can almost hear my fat pants getting excited. If you have been you will relate. Have you ever eaten such fatty, processed & sugary food ever! I am going to be a heffalump. Bring it on!
I can almost see my husband throw his eyes up to heaven when he reads this. He doesn't get it. Men don't. Womens obssession with weight.
I would think of myself as bigish girl-I have never been skinny (and it doesnt help that my sister is a svelte size six) and I know I am not anyway obese... I am a size 14.. not one of these "im a size 14 in jeans" and there are 3 bellys hanging out over the band- Girl just buy the size 16 willa!
I have discovered the gym in the last 6 months so the clothes are getting a little looser (Don't you just love that) but the scales havent changed a bit though! Another thing men can't understand- "Honey why are you getting obssessed with the scales when you can SEE the difference in your shape and in your clothes" but I just pout like a five year old and say I want to SEE the change in the damn scales...
I am embarking on a 12 week Fat loss and toning probgramme with a low carb- not no carb, low carb diet- before all you anti Atkins who think they know it all but have information dating back ten years, start trying to ram your opinions down my trapwith Planet Health Club Blackpool so here it is for those of you interested in the journey http://gymwillfixit.blogspot.com/
Bring it on! After the eating all the pies in Florida of course...

Ann...and...Barry...Went...to...the...Shop...
That sentence right there gives me a tug in my heart.
This is Ann.
This is Barry.
Ann has a car.
Barry has a lorry.
Sigh.. Those were the first sentences I ever read.
