Please ignore me if I sound a bit bitter. I am. Or a bit Jealous. I am. I wanted it. Reeaaally wanted it. Best thing someone said to me was "Sue you are way too normal to be on that show". Didn't comfort me. I retorted with If that is so then next year I am applying and pretending I have tourettes or a Johnny Logan fetish or something.
Italians, Stallions & Great Danes- Where exactly are the Corkonians....The Dutch Gold and the Looney's mushy pea fritters with a side of Drisheen from the English market...
I enjoyed the first episode but then it went downhill...I really felt the Cork show needed someone with a good sense of humour (Enter Sue stage left with jazz hands showing)... The only thing that made it watchable was the young married (poor fucker) contestant Louisa who claimed to be Italian. Or Luigi as the Twitterverse had aptly named her. She was so mean and horrible I suggested that maybe, just maybe, "Italian" was slang in parts of Cork for pig. (Had to hide behind the lap top from the tirades of foreign Tweeters and Facebookers that didn't take to kindly to it-who knew she had friends). I felt so bold slagging her off and trying to get "ShrekInADress" trending... But she did go on the show to be the "Nasty Nick" of CDWM...and I can't take anyone seriously who says that it was all the editing that made her look bad... You can't edit someone saying "I might slash her tyres"...
So anyway I have decided that I do not want to be a contestant in the next series. I want Dave Lambe's Job... My ego, from all the people telling me how great I would have been on the show would not allow me to be satisfied with being a mere contestant...If it doesn't happen I am going to set up a spin off show called "Come Wine with Me"... who's in.......
